Nobody’s Clown is about being yourself and not letting anyone else play you
What started with a character from one of 4Saken’s earlier designs, Yovi then took it in his own direction
After a few versions, it became the piece you see here: dark, colorful, and full of small details
“You’re not here to be anyone’s puppet or anyone’s entertainment.” - Yovi

Yovi Valentin is a Fort Worth tattoo artist and illustrator whose work pulls from Puerto Rican heritage, graffiti, street art, illustration and the hip-hop culture he grew up around
His approach is intentionally difficult to box in: mixing styles, mediums and small details into work that rewards a second look
“The way I would describe my style is very unorthodox. I try not to put myself in a box.”
